Afterschool... and Beyond!

Picture
Eagerly anticipated, indoor and outdoor time (weather permitting) gives the kids a chance to play games with friends, relax with a book, build structures or work on a project.
Above—Gaga ball—a crowd favorite.
Supervised care before and after school is included in your child’s tuition. Morning care is available from 7:30 to 8:15. Aftercare runs from closing circle at 3:15 until 5pm and is directed by Tom Wright, our P.E. teacher.

An additional hour of care (5 to 6pm) is available for $7 per day per child. Parents may take advantage of this extra hour on either a regular or drop-in basis, and are billed monthly.

Enrichment Programs

We are very pleased that a wide range of after-school enrichment opportunities are available to our students—without them having to leave our campus! These classes offer students both freedom to express their creative sides and the chance to delve deeply into an area of their own interest.

Please note that registration and financial arrangements are made each term directly with those who are offering the enrichment classes. Dunham is not involved in these arrangements, and does not supervise your children when they are in these classes. However, we are very happy to make it possible for these opportunities to take place on campus! Please contact the individual or group offering the class directly for more information or to sign your child up.

Claymation

The Claymation class offers students a great opportunity for their creative expression as a fun, whole-brained, multi-dimensional, collaborative experience. Students build their own clay characters and their own clay world, then create movies using digital stop-motion photography. Students receive a DVD of their projects at the end of the term.

Taught by Arin Wiscomb, Dean of Students
Mondays, 3:45-5:00 p.m. in the Art Room
Cost: $275 (includes materials and DVD)
