Admissions Process
We admit students year-round, consistent with our year-round calendar and our philosophy that gifted students thrive on a year-round schedule. Students qualify for admission based standardized cognitive and academic test scores and a school visit. 2012-2013 Admissions
For families who know that they are seeking a September 2012 start date, we provide a timeline for tours, applications and admissions. Please keep in mind that, due to our intentionally small size, classes for next year can often be filled by students who matriculate before September 2012. If you believe Dunham Academy is the right fit for your child, you may wish to apply for earlier admission.
2012/13 Admissions Schedule
Parent Tours Begin: November 4, 2011 and continue through 2012
Student Tryouts Begin: November 4, 2011 and continue as space is available
Final Open House: January 21, 2012
Priority Applications Due: January 27, 2012*
*Late applications will be accepted if there are spaces available. There is an additional $75 administrative processing fee.
Test Results Due: March 16, 2012
Acceptances Mailed: March 16, 2012
Acceptances E-Mailed: March 19, 2012
Tuition
2011-2012: $18,910, includes all materials, laptops used at school, and childcare, beginning at 7:30 am and after-school to 5:00 pm, during school days.
